The astute observer might notice the current Australian governments tilt toward reducing the public service, commercialism and outsourcing. All of which is likely to result in increased requirements for contract management, procurement, dispute management, leasing, property management etc.

These things aren't necessarily the work of a lawyer but a person with a law degree could find a lucrative, alternative career path in these areas.
